What started 28 years ago as a joke is now a part of my life. When the clock changed to 12:34, my very good friend turned to me and said, "Hey look! It's one, two, three, four! How cool is that. Now, every time we see that we'll think of this and think of each other!"
Since then, I always think of my friend when the clock turns to 12:34. I've continued those fond memories by passing this tradition on to my daughter and other friends. It's always fun to all of a sudden, look at the clock and say, "It's one, two, three, four" and giggle at our own private joke!
I now pass this tradition on to you!

Love this post. My son started doing that when he was just learning to tell time. Only he would also call out when it was all the same numbers, like 11:11 or 2:22. I thought we were the only ones that found this entertaining. Just goes to show how alike we all can be.
