Happy Birthday to my kiddo! Every year on her birthday she gets a new tiara. This year was no exception. I can only imagine that when she's older she may not want the plastic ones anymore!

I took this yesterday in the late afternoon. I didn't have my filters with me, but what I saw through my sunglasses and naked eye was very different. So, I took my sunglasses and put them over the lens of my camera and took the shot!

We had big gusts of wind last night up to 40mpgh. Imagine our surprise when we went out into our back pasture to find our old Mulberry tree completely blown down. But, it was such a beautiful day that I took out my fisheye lens to take this shot of the downed tree and our back pasture.

Welcome to the Jungle!

Since the age of 10, I have had a camera in hand! I've been taking photos my entire life including weddings, portraits, and anything that I find interesting. After many family and friends telling me I should start charging for my services and possibly put a print or two up for sale, I've decided to do just that!
I've launched my new site WishNik Photography and I hope that you enjoy what you see as much as I have enjoyed and do enjoy taking these photos!



This new year, I plan to challenge myself and improve greatly. My personal challenge will be forthcoming! Stay tuned!
